We are happy to announce that we have finally got a distributor in America; New York-based First Run Features. The initial strategy is to release the film theatrically in New York. If the film has a decent run and attracts some positive reviews, it will then be released nationwide. A DVD release will follow soon after. Our initial New York release is therefore absolutely crucial! We’ll post more updates on this, as and when plans are finalized.
The film ran for a month in Zurich over the summer. Although handicapped by the fact that it was released at the beginning of the summer holidays – a notoriously dead time for movies – it had a good response and a very positive review in Zurich’s leading newspaper, the Neue Zurcher Zeitung.
Since our last update, the film has been busy screening at several festivals, and we’ve been happy with the response it has been receiving.
